Port Vale brought in three players on loan while loaning another out in a busier than expected deadline day at Vale Park.
The transfer window is now shut until January although this may not be the end of movements at the Valiants with a number of younger professionals now expected to complete loan moves to non-league clubs.
Incomings
Hackford is late addition
The club announced the loan signing of Sheffield Utd striker Antwoine Hackford at 11.30pm, completing a busy day for the club. Hackford spent last season on loan at Burton Albion.
Richards bolsters midfield
The Vale also brought in Aston Villa youngster Rico Richards on loan. The 20 year-old is an attacking, creative midfielder who has been on loan at Stockport County last season.

Cover joins on loan
The Valiants have also signed Brandon Cover on loan from Leicester City. A versatile player and a Jamaican International, Cover can play in a number of positions.

Ojo heads out on loan
33 year-old midfielder Funso Ojo has left the club to spend the season on loan with League One side Shrewsbury Town.
