Most Vale fans liked Andy Crosby, and he has been unlucky with injuries and loan recalls, but a change was definitely needed, Flitcroft needs to go as well.
Get Gareth Ainsworth in ASAP

Thank goodness!
Only visited the ground once and the style of play was exceedingly strange.
To watch the goalkeeper have more of the ball than a midfielder, and to play as a kind of sweeper is not football as I know it
Football is all about creating chances not sideways passing, tò give passion to the fans by fast attacking moves and not about keeping possession in your own half

I have real sympathy for Andy Crosby. Not the best Manager in the League but a decent man who did what he could with limited resources & little or no help from our Director of Football. I think he is the Fall Guy for David Flitcroft & I personally put most of the blame for our current predicament firmly at his door. Carol & Kevin are no fools & I cannot believe they will allow Flitcroft to continue in a role that he clearly is not capable or qualified to deliver the required results in. Sorry Carol but he must go!!!!!

Football’s not fair and maybe it never was. Andy Crosby has struggled simply because he’s not been provided with the tools to do his job. The players are not his recruits. and crucially are too old or too young or not sufficiently robust for a tough league. We are absurdly short of enough sound Div 1 footballers. On their day the side has been capable of attractive attacking football but those games have been few in recent weeks.
We have shuffled along with players and a formation that was foisted on him by the DOF and i can only hope that the next manager has freedom to run with his own ideas. you can’t manage a club (or a team) from the Boardroom

Should move for Gareth Ainsworth and hope he can attract a free agent goalscorer quickly. Crosby was the cheap option and should never have been appointed. Hopefully Robbie and Taylor will buy club and attract some investment as owners are selling not buying players
