Port Vale manager given bereavement leave
Port Vale have announced that manager Darrell Clarke is taking a period of leave after a close family bereavement.
The club made the announcement in a short statement released on Tuesday afternoon.
“Port Vale Manager Darrell Clarke is taking a period of leave having experienced a close family bereavement.
The club requests that the privacy of Darrell and his family is respected at this time.” the statement read.
The news means that Andy Crosby could take charge of the Valiants team for the trip to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
Our thoughts and best wishes go to Darrell and his family at this sad time.
