Port Vale rumour: Valiants are linked to non-league hotshot
Journalist Pete O’Rourke says that Port Vale are one of a number of clubs interested in signing a non-league forward.
O’Rourke claims on social media that Warrington Rylands striker Adama Sidibeh, who has scored fifteen times this season is being targeted by Stockport County, Salford City, Blackpool, Port Vale, Altrincham and AFC Fylde.
25 year-old Sidibeh was signed by Warrington in the summer after he scored twenty goals and was voted player of the year by Cheadle Heath Nomads.
After being voted player of the year, Cheadle Heath manager Rory Fallon commented on Sidibeh saying: “It’s not just the goals he has scored, but the fact he’s also a tremendous team player. Everyone knows what a talent he is, and the bright future he has ahead of him.”
Could that future include a move to Burslem? We have to reiterate that this is just a transfer rumour at the moment.

The Valiants appear to be looking for forward reinforcements in the January transfer window. The club have also been linked with a move for Bradford City forward Jake Young who has recently enjoyed a prolific spell with Swindon Town on loan.
Meanwhile, former captain Tom Conlon has departed for Oldham Athletic and attacking midfielder Jenson Weir brought in on loan.
