Colourised Port Vale photos – black and white images are transformed
OVF summer archives: some black and white Port Vale images are transformed. Using online software, we’ve added colour to some of our collection of vintage photos. We hope that they add a whole new dimension to them…
What is this feature?
During the quieter summer months we will be republishing select articles from our extensive archives. This site now has over 10,000 blog posts and this particular one is one of our favourites. We hope you enjoy it…
The colourisation technique is not perfect. There are gaps and some areas remain grey or the wrong shade but in general the results are impressive.
Each of the boxes shows the before (black and white) and after (colour) photos.
