Mini Gallery: images of the Vale Park construction work summer 2022
Take a look at the construction work around the Vale Part stadium in the summer of 2022.
The club have embarked on £1.2m worth of work to upgrade the stadium including the installation of new turnstiles and a new PA system.
These images centre on the work around the Railway stand including the construction of brand-new turnstiles.
What’s in the gallery?
These images show the construction of brand-new turnstiles behind the Railway stand. According to the Sentinel report “The old turnstiles in the Hamil corner of the Railway Paddock and Stand have been demolished. They had been in place since the ground was built in 1950 but are being replaced by automated turnstiles.”
A new bar?
This image is behind the old family stand. According to the Sentinel report – “A toilet block in that area has been demolished. The club are looking to remove all the waste and rubble from that corner and would like to make room for a kiosk where they can serve alcohol. Because that’s not in view of the pitch, regulations will allow them to put in a bar, something fans in that stand don’t currently have.”
