Port Vale on target to beat last year’s season ticket sales
Port Vale FC are on course to beat last season’s season ticket sales after the club reported that 5,100 had been sold with 48 hours of the early bird period still to run.
The total sold this summer matches last season’s sales and the club are now look likely to exceed that number as they prepare for life in League One.
The early bird offer has now been extended until Saturday and with many fans set to attend the home shirt launch event, sales are expected to be brisk in the closing hours of the offer.
Vale’s income has also been boosted by the opening of the Robbie Williams suite over the summer which adds a further 100 hospitality seats for fans to purchase.
Garlick told the Sentinel newspaper: “The response to the new lounge has been very good. Those (hospitality) numbers have to go on that figure so, by the time we finish calculating in the early part of next week, we are going to be nearer to 6,000 than we are to 5,000.”
What hospitality areas are available in the Lorne St stand?
This coming season there will be three suites open for corporate guests along with a Directors Suite for club guests:
- The Valiants Lounge will be well-known to many Valiants as it has held EGMs and club events (max capacity 400)
- The CJ Bayley Lounge is a smaller area which is used as hospitality for match sponsors (max capacity 80)
- The Robbie Williams suite opened this summer (max capacity 100)
- The revamped Directors Suite is used to entertain visitors from the visiting club as well as players’ families (max capacity 70)
