It’s back to business – Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke on the play-offs
Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke says it’s “back to business” as the club prepare to take part in the League Two play-offs.
The Valiants travel to Swindon on Sunday for the first leg of their semi-final clash.
We look forward to the build-up but it’s back to business and we want to try and progress into League One through the play-offs…
Talking to the media Clarke said: “I think a lot of people would have took that (a place in the play-offs) at the start of the season. I always want more ‘cos I’m greedy.
“I think the way the club’s represented itself, the way it’s performed, for the majority of the season everybody’s given everything and we want to continue to do that for the play-offs.
“We look forward to the build-up but it’s back to business and we want to try and progress into League One through the play-offs.
“We have that togetherness and spirit and we want to build on that and try and progress through the play-offs.”
