Port Vale will screen final game of the season at Vale Park
Port Vale have received special permission to show a live broadcast of the club’s final game of the season at Vale Park.
Games that kick off between 3pm-5pm on a Saturday can’t usually be broadcast live due to a blackout but the Valiants have received special permission to broadcast the game after their 1,300 allocation sold out. The match could potentially be crucial to Vale’s promotion hopes.
A club statement said:
The club is convinced that even if the allocation had been doubled, such was the demand for tickets for the fixture that a much larger allocation would also have sold out and still left some fans disappointed.
In an effort to avoid fans travelling to Exeter without tickets for the game and to allow Vale supporters to be together for the final game of the regular season, the club is hosting a ‘beamback’ screening at Vale Park.
Around 4,000 tickets (unreserved seating along with allocated accessibility spaces) will be on sale for the Hamil Road stand – allowing fans to watch the game together on two large screens located pitchside.
To enhance the occasion our popular FanZone, sponsored by Staffordshire University, will also be in operation on the day – offering entertainment and refreshments.
Tickets will be priced at £10 per adult (no concessions) and £5 for supporters aged 17 and under. Tickets will go on sale, via the ticket office (not online) to Season Ticket holders (one per Season Ticket) on Saturday, April 30. Remaining tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Tuesday, May 3. Thank you for your incredible support. UTV!
