Fans will unite to pay tribute to Lee Collins during Forest Green Rovers v Port Vale match
Supporters of both sides are expected to take part in tributes to the late Lee Collins during Port Vale’s trip to Forest Green Rovers this weekend.
Defender Collins had spells at both clubs making 163 appearances for the Valiants over a four year spell and a further 64 during a two year stay with Forest Green.
Collins, sadly passed away aged 32, earlier this year.
A tweet proposing a minutes applause on five minutes and fifteen minutes (marking the shirt numbers held by Collins at both clubs) has received the backing of Port Vale FC:
We support this idea from @FGR_Alfie which will see fans coming together to remember Collo 👏👏@FGRFC_Official
