Crookes, Mills start, loanees on bench as Port Vale visit Tranmere Rovers
Interim Port Vale manager Danny Pugh has made two changes to his starting line-up for the tough test against Tranmere Rovers.
Shaun Brisley is out after being taken off early in the win over Southend United so Adam Crookes starts in central defence. Influential right-back James Gibbons is also out so Zak Mills starts.
Newcomers Will Swan and Mustafa Olagunji are on the bench.
