Port Vale make seven changes for Sunderland FLT game
Caretaker Port Vale manager Danny Pugh has made seven changes for Tuesday evening’s Football League Trophy game at Sunderland.
Returning midfielder Jake Taylor (who agreed a permanent move on Monday) is included on the bench.
Striker Theo Robinson gets a rare start upfront while Dino Visser plays in goal and Adam Crookes lines up at left-back.
The line-up suggests Vale will revert back to a 4-3-3 formation with Conlon, Burgess and Whitehead in midfield while Hurst and Amoo are either side of Robinson.
