Two Port Vale players are made available for transfer
Port Vale manager John Askey has confirmed that Harry McKirdy and Theo Robinson will be made available to other clubs in the January transfer window.
The pair were surprisingly left out of the matchday squad for Tuesday evening’s trip to Bradford City.
According to a report in the Staffordshire Sentinel newspaper:
Askey has confirmed that both players are available for a move as he looks to free up space in his squad to sign players.
Both players were signed this season. Robinson was a summer addition and agreed a two-year deal with the club in August. He has scored four goals in twenty appearances.
McKirdy joined the club in September following the departure of Rhys Browne and a successful trial. He agreed a one year deal and has scored twice in nine appearances.
The duo’s career at Vale Park so far…
Theo Robinson:
Appearances: 9+11
Goals: 4
Harry McKirdy
Appearances: 4+5
Goals: 2

Sad because neither have been given a proper chance. Who ever he’ll bring in won’t get a chance either, remember the last January window he brought back Jake Taylor who was one of our more impressive players from the first part of the season and then never played him
