Port Vale loan out midfielder to FC United of Manchester
Port Vale have allowed midfielder Dan Trickett-Smith to join FC United of Manchester on an initial month’s loan, the club have announced.
Trickett-Smith was signed by former owner Norman Smurthwaite in the January 2019 transfer window. The talented midfielder began his career at Crewe Alex before a big money move to Liverpool and spells in the US Leagues.
When he joined the Valiants he was loaned back to former club Leek Town until the end of the 2018-19 season. This campaign he spent a spell on loan at Curzon Ashton where he made six appearances and scored once.
The 24 year-old has made one appearance for the Valiants this season – playing in a 2-1 win over Newcastle United B in the Football League Trophy.
