Former Valiants: goalkeeper and midfielder sign for new clubs

Former Port Vale players Joe Slinn and Harry Middleton have agreed deals with new clubs.

Goalkeeper Slinn has signed for League One Walsall on a one-year deal. The youngster was released after never making a first-team appearance for the Valiants.

Midfielder Harry Middleton has linked up with Brendon Daniel’ former club – National League North side Alfreton Town.

Middleton was signed by former manager Michael Brown last season but after a handful of appearance he fell out of favour and was released in the summer.
