Opposing views: Cheltenham fan says form is poor right now…
Cheltenham fan Robin of the robinsnestforum.co.uk forum says Vale’s latest opponents are gifting opponents chances…
About the fan…
I’ve been going for longer than I care to remember. I’ve seen quite a bit in my time, some ups and several downs…
We are lacking confidence and seem ready to gift the opposition chances with individual mistakes…
How are Cheltenham doing?
Our form is poor right now. We are lacking confidence and seem ready to gift the opposition chances with individual mistakes. We do have some good players though and we are capable of giving anyone a game in this league when on top form (which has sadly not been the case last couple of months).
Who are the danger men?
Mo Eisa is our highly rated forward who is being tracked by several Championship clubs as well as Peterborough. He’s expected to leave for a club record fee in the summer and whilst still a little raw, he has that extra quality about him.
What about the manager?
He’s a good manager, although a very small minority seem to be turning against him. I back him to turn things around and get us challenging for promotion next season.
Any memories of players connected with both clubs?
Every Cheltenham fan will thank you for Tony Naylor, one of my all time favourite players!
Any help for the visiting away fans?
There aren’t many pubs near the ground anymore apart from the Sudeley arms. I think you will be fine in there but it’s quite small. The town centre is a 10-15 walk away and has plenty of pubs. Trouble is usually rare here and usually happens during local derbies so you should be fine wherever you go.
A score prediction?
I’ll go for 2-0 home win, which is more heart over head which says a draw more likely. Attendances have been poor this season I’d guess around 2,800 home fans plus what ever you bring.
Thanks to REP for asking the questions.
