Team news: Whitfield and Anderson start for Vale

Manager Neil Aspin has made one change to his starting eleven with Tom Anderson replacing Gavin Gunning. Loanee Ben Whitfield starts upfront.

James Gibbons is given a place on the bench as Joe Davis continues as right-back.

The official Port Vale Twitter account confirmed the team as:

Starting XI: Boot, Davis, Smith, Anderson, Pugh, Tonge, Kay, Harness, Montano, Whitfield, Pope

Subs: Lainton,  Denton, Gibbons, Worrall, Barnett, Forrester, Turner
