Former keeper Sam Johnson joins FC Halifax Town

Released Port Vale goalkeeper Sam Johnson has joined FC Halifax Town on a two-year contract.

Johnson came through the youth system at Vale Park and made 26 appearances for the first team. However, he was loaned out for the whole of last season including a second spell with Halifax which culminated in promotion to the National League.
