About Opposing Views: Before each first-team game, OVF regular REP will bring you the views of the opposition with one or more supporters answering our questions. This time it’s the turn of cup opponents West Brom

About the fans

MANDOWN PILT – I started going to home and lots of away games in 1990-91. What a season!

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – My dad and grandad are from Tipton, I am from Coventry. My first game was against Nottingham Forest in 1999.

HEATH-AY-I – I hever had a choice in it as my old man told me I was Albion. It was a deeply testing experience until at least the year 2000.

How do you expect your team to do in the cups?

We have a manager that cares about cups and a squad that can grind out results…

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – We have a manager that cares about cups and a squad that can grind out results. I think we can push for a semi-final in one of the cups, most likely this one. So, I’m going for semi-final in the League Cup and quarters or the fifth round for the FA Cup, depending on who we draw.

HEATH-AY-I – I’d be disappointed with anything less than a quarter-final.

What’s your favourite cup memory?

MANDOWN PILT – Beating Wolves 3-0 away when we had their seats for a pie and a pint.

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – Favourite Cup game was twonking Cov in 2008 or the cup game last season as we played a blinder and everything went right.

HEATH-AY-I – Winning 3-0 at Molineux when we had taken over what they consider to be their home end.

Who should we watch out for?

MANDOWN PILT – It depends who plays. I’ll say Rondon, as he’s nurtured back to fitness.

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – Who to watch out for, Tyler Roberts if he is given a run around but I doubt he will. So, aside from Saido I’d say Mozza, as it seems like a great game for him to boss the midfield and regain the form from last season.

HEATH-AY-I – Berahino, particularly against lower level opposition, assuming he plays.

Any thoughts of previous West Brom-Vale games?

MANDOWN PILT – There was one match in 1993 that stands out!

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – I remember the 0-0 in January 2000 a bit but I was only five so not that well. Unlike everyone else here I don’t remember the 1993 play-off final.

HEATH-AY-I – Wembley of course and otherwise it just generally always being freezing cold!

A score prediction?

MANDOWN PILT – It wouldn’t surprise me if we lost.

THE MAGIC BEANBAG – 5-0 to Albion. Mozza, Saido gets 3 then Roberts scores off the bench to finish things off. Now watch as we lose!

HEATH-AY-I – 3-1 Albion.
