Former Valiants: Duo move to new non-league clubs
Dave Hibbert and Clayton McDonald are both on the move plus news on Kingsley James, Neill Collins and Abdulai Bell-Baggie…
Striker Dave Hibbert, who controversially left Vale for Preston, has signed for AFC Telford. He has had previous non-league spells with Tamworth and Nuneaton.
Defender Clayton McDonald has signed for Worcester City after leaving Redditch United.
But it’s bad news for former loanee Abdulai Bell-Baggie who has been released by Bristol Rovers.
It also looks like former midfielder Kingsley James may leave Chester City. James is out of contract and sadly his mother is seriously ill and the player wants to move to a club closer to the Barnsley area.
However, a player who could be staying put is former Vale loanee Neill Collins. He is likely to be given an opportunity to impress new Blades boss Nigel Adkins with the former Southampton manager commenting: “Everyone will be given a chance.”
