Striker Lee Hughes appears to have ruled out a move to Vale Park in the January transfer window after he told the Nottingham press “I don’t want to go.”
I love it here and I don’t want to go…
The Notts County forward was strongly linked with a move to Vale Park in the last loan window but the move fell through after the Valiants failed to submit the paperwork in time. Vale were widely expected to renew their interest in the new year.
But Hughes has since forced his way back into the League One side’s starting eleven and he told the Nottingham Evening Post: “I love it here and I don’t want to go.
“I 100 per cent want to be here. I love the fans, the club and everything here. I want to play for Notts County.”
