We take a leaf through the pages of a programme from Vale’s 1984-85 Division Four campaign.

About

This was the first full season for legendary manager John Rudge. The game itself ended in a 2-1 win for the Valiants with loanee Gary Brazil and local youngster Robbie Earle the goalscorers. It was played in front of 3,301. Vale ended the season in 12th place.
