Vale youth team goalkeeper Joe Anyon has linked up with Conference North side Harrogate Town.
Anyon has spent a previous loan spell at Stafford Rangers this season, but has now switched to Harrogate Town, who are managed by former Vale favourite Neil Aspin.
Harrogate’s first-choice keeper Michael Price is ruled out with an infected knee and Anyon subsequently made his full debut for the side in a 1-1 draw with Doyslden.
Harrogate managed a creditable 1-1 draw against Torquay in the first round of the FA Cup and face their league opponents at Wetherby Road on Tuesday night.
But as Vale do not want him cup-tied, Anyon will only be able to watch the game from the sidelines.
