I didn't consider the risks of it till today, but Gore looked like a kid playing men's football for the first time, and looked knackered after 30. 

We're relying on a bunch of very young men getting it together very quickly - and it took Devine 6 weeks. Blaster had all summer. These players haven't got the luxury.

Just sick of watching the crap being served up. Went Saturday and got soaking wet and watch football as bad as I’ve seen it. No one genuinely seemed to know what they were doing and we got lucky. We won’t have that same luck tonight!!

On the Massey debate - although he isn't very good, I think the ire is more to do with him being symptom of the shambolic forward recruitment for the past two seasons.

Agreed. He can look to be a good player, as he did against Ipswich at home last season, and he clearly has something given that he has won promotion from this division before, but it’s just not working out for him at the Vale. 
 

Hopefully things will change and the team gel’s really quickly, otherwise Crosby has to go unfortunately.
