Port Vale have lost an appeal against key player David Worrall serving a three match ban for violent conduct.
The FA have ruled that appeals against the suspensions for Worrall and Scunthorpe player Matthew Lund were not justified.
Worrall’s suspension means that he will miss the FA Cup game against Cheltenham Town plus League games at home to Walsall and away to Crawley. The forward will also not be eligible for the Football League Trophy game against Mansfield.
