Port Vale midfielder goes on loan

The Sentinel newspaper reports that young Port Vale midfielder Lucas Green-Birch has joined Market Drayton Town on loan.

The teenager earned his first professional contract in the summer and will join the Northern Premier League side for a month.

Green-Birch is the fifth Port Vale player out on loan. Alex Hurst is at Bradford Park Avenue, until January, Dan Trickett-Smith is on a two-month loan at Curzon Ashton, Joe Berks is with Stafford Rangers and Ryan Campbell-Gordon is at Ilkeston Town.
