Port Vale striker Tom Pope could be in further trouble with the FA after a Tweet sent in the early hours of Sunday morning. Pope recently served a one-match ban for an offensive tweet and could now face further sanctions.
Quoting one of the striker’s tweets from June 2019, in which the 34-year-old had suggested he could score “40 a season” playing against Man City defender John Stones, a Twitter user wrote: “please predict the #WWIII result you king”.
