Loan signings Oliver Lynch and Mason Terry have both said they are delighted to have joined the Valiants on loan.
Lynch, a striker from Luton Town and Terry, a goalkeeper from West Ham, have both joined the club on season-long loans and spoke to the club’s inhouse PVTV service.
Lynch aims to score goals
The aim of loan striker Oliver Lynch is clear. He told PVTV his ambition was to “keep scoring goals and hopefully get the club promoted.” The striker selected the Valiants after a “really good chat with the gaffer and he made me feel really wanted. It’s a big club and it deserves to be in a higher league.”
Former Luton loanee Ethon Archer also played a part with Lynch saying “I spoke to him about his time here and he really enjoyed it and he thought I’d really enjoy it too. It was a big part in me making the move.”
Asked what he will bring he added he wanted to “to score as many goals as I can – that’s my job. I’m lively, I’m a big centre-forward, I’m quick, I’ll try and bully centre defenders.”
Terry does his homework
Goalkeeper Terry has done his homework on the club saying: “I used to watch quite a lot of Port Vale’s games especially the second-half of last season since Jon (Brady) took over. It’s a great set of fans, so to be part of a community and play in front of a big crowd I’m looking forward to that challenge and embracing it.”
Manager Jon Brady was a key reason for the move with Terry adding: “I spoke to the gaffer straight away and he has great ambitions for this club and it was a no brainer to come and develop my career at this amazing football club.”
The keeper is also looking forward to competing with Vale’s other keeper Jackson Smith adding: “There’s only one shirt and I’m looking forward to working with Jackson. We can push each other to earn the shirt. For me (the ambition is) to get the shirt.”

I hope ya both have a blinding season and stay to the end of it
By god we need goals
Good luck to ya boys
Up the vale
Hungry to improve, and make a real contribution to success. Good combination to have on board, despite their inexperience.
