Manager Jon Brady commented: “Matty fits the profile of player we want to bring to Port Vale. Young, hungry and on an upward trajectory in his career. He has a real desire to improve, works hard every day and is eager to develop, which are qualities that are very important to us. We believe he has the potential to grow with the football club and make a positive impact both on and off the pitch. We’re delighted to welcome him to Port Vale and look forward to working with him as we continue building a competitive and ambitious squad.”
