Port Vale confirm their third friendly date of the summer

Port Vale have confirmed a pre-season fixture against League One side Wigan Athletic – their third confirmed friendly game of the summer.

The Valiants have already announced that friendlies will not take place at Vale Park due to pitch work so this game will take place at Wigan’s Brick Community stadium. It is due to be played on Saturday 18th July at 1pm.

Two other friendly dates have been confirmed as:

  • Kidsgrove Athletic vs Port Vale XI – Saturday 11th July, (2pm KO)
  • Newcastle Town vs Port Vale XI – Tuesday 14th July (7:30pm KO)
