In our final OVF Star Man article, we can confirm that defender Kyle John is the overall winner but winger Onel Hernandez picked up a series of late star man awards.
John picked up the star man award for his performance against Rotherham United before his season was ended early through injury. However, that award, his tenth of the campaign, was enough to see him crowned our star man of the season. It matches the result of the official player of the season awards which also saw John crowned as the winner.
Other late winners included Ryan Croasdale picking up his third of the season, Joe Gauci picking up his sixth of the season, Rhys Walters picking up his fifth, Ben Heneghan picking up his eighth and interestingly veteran Onel Hernandez picking up four MOTM awards in the closing stages. Those awards rocket Hernandez into joint fifth place.

Like George Byers myself, but not one man of the match in a season?
It says a lot about our strikers that RAURI PATON is well ahead of every other striker with 8 MOM awards (up to January)when he’s not been favoured by Darren Moore or Jon Brady (didn’t even give him a chance to show what he could do!!! ).
Totally baffled by how he has been treated by the club and managers who supposedly treat their players very well.
