The performance was exceptional seen as we have nothing to play for, and gives you hope for next season. Brady reminds me of Micky Adams, while he’s fiery and passionate, unafraid to speak his mind. He’s a players manager which all good managers are. The club have done well to find Brady, and are lucky we can hopefully go into next season with a bit of a bounce in our step, which takes some of the heat off them.

What a great performance and result from a group of players I have been highly critical of & Mr Brady & coaching staff will be rightfully proud of i totally agree with the comments Rob that I couldn’t pick man of the match ps nice to see a dominant Ben Heneghan back personal view would loved to have seen Jack Shorrock given a game never mind perhaps on Saturday UTV

You just can’t believe how we played ? What happened before haha. Needs now to pick is side for league 2. If we can keep players here we should go straight back up, but let’s see who we keep and who goes

The performance was what we had hoped for after the early cardiff match at home but for whatever reason never reached those levels enough it was certainly worth travelling last night good to see byers back and to all the players and travelling fans you were brill Oh and maybe you can get some advice on how at this end of the season they have a bowling green for a pitch

If ever I wanted a result, after the awful season we have had THEN IT WAS THIS ONE, two shocking performances to Stockport at home, wanted me to win this one and hopefully dent their playoffs… and what i-watched last night, was awesome WHY OH WHY, leave it too late same again Saturday then I will have hope for next season, WELL DONE VALE

Brady is settling in and making his mark. His Vale record of won 10, drawn 7, lost 12, includes two games against EPL opponents, and is decent considering the team he inherited “couldn’t beat an egg” when he arrived. Room for optimism next season, albeit down in League 2.
