Port Vale have announced that there will be no increase in season ticket prices for next season.
The club says the decision is “despite another year of rising operational costs for clubs across the country, the decision to freeze prices again reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping football accessible. We want you to be able to follow the Valiants without facing additional financial pressure.”
Early bird pricing is £335 for the Railway and Hamil stands and £350 for the Lorne Street.

CEO Matt Hancock commented: “This season has been a difficult one and we’re very aware of that. You’ve stuck with the club through it all and we felt it was important to recognise that when it came to season ticket pricing. Freezing prices again felt like the right thing to do.
“Jon is already building something here that we all believe in and he’ll be given the resource he needs to improve the squad further during the summer. We’re asking you to stay with us and get right behind the team once again, because we know that Vale Park can be a really powerful place when it’s united behind our manager and players. That support will be hugely important as we move into the new season.”

£257 for over 65 at stoke city, Championship football not Division 4
Check out the Crewe prices. Their cheap offer ended yesterday and was £330 for seniors. £257 at Stoke? They’d have to pay me more than that.
I’m not complaining at paying £265 for a season ticket as a senior. About £11 or so per game. I suspect we’ll have a decent season under a good manager in Jon Brady. The big task is to attract some goalscorers to the club.
Every time CEO Matt Hancock opens his mouth my blood boils. As usual Hancock and the owners seem to take no responsibility for yet another disastrous season, and a price increase would just be another slap in to the face for fans. Gate receipts are no longer a clubs main income, and with T.V. dictating more and more when and what time games take place, it’s only right that they pay for that right. My point is, in the past when you purchased a season ticket, you KNEW all home games would kickoff either 3pm on a Saturday, or 7.45 on a Tuesday. That is no longer the case, and not all season ticket holders are able to attend the constantly rearranged games. So why should prices continue to rise!
It must be an April fools day joke….as a senior I would pay the same at Vale Park to watch rubbish football playing the likes of Accrington Stanley in L2 as I would to watch a Championship match with big clubs visiting in the Boothen end at Stoke.
And this is a deal ? Must be April fools !
Then go to Stoke then Mr Dale and take Alan with you. By the way senior season ticket qualification starts at 62 down the Vale, a three year saving compared to Stoke.
Ian, can you at least once a year be a little more positive. It’s been crap but give the manager a chance! Let’s be positive and get behind them in league 2, not looking and waiting for them to fail. It’s what it sounds like!
