Sorry jon but these players just dont have the right mindset to get vale out of this mess keeper just not aware doesnt come for crosses makes occasional saves but players around him have no confidence in him and likewise him in the players. no one wants to boss the game never thought for one minute vale had this game just waiting full the lack of concentration to kick in

The result against Blackpool is academic, Vale have been down for some time, probably about the time that Darren Moore departed. The worrying part is how we perform, it’s really not good! We fail to get control of the ball, on a very good surface, we can’t defend and track players, Magloire was at fault for 2 goals that we conceded last night, on both occasions he was too far away from the attacker, in our 18 yard box which allowed them the space to score, not good enough, if we recruit players of his standard we will find ourselves in the National League. The attacking line is weak, to be fair there isn’t much service but time and time again we gave the ball away far too easily. Jon Brady has a free hit at the moment because he has inherited a shower of shit, think carefully Jon when you start to release and recruit players for next season because your free pass will have expired and you will become accountable. Let’s hope for better performances to come to leave us with some belief. Up the Vale

p-same poor again , 3 players ball watching for the first equaliser, the goalkeeper’s kicking is pathetic, has he got his boots on the wrong feet, I can’t believe the mess we have made with managers having the great Sir John Rudge at the club, the club has learned nothing and it would not surprise me if we end up going down again. Carol has not got the slightest idea how to run Port Vale, for me there will be no season ticket or shirts purchased until we as supporters are told WHAT is going on at Port Vale F.C

Not a lot you can say really, everything has been covered by the previous correspondents expertly well. Only wanted to say that yes the current manager inherited a large bloated squad but his dealings in the transfer window were appalling.None of the players are good enough for league 1football and perhaps not even league 2..why was that the case?…was it down to his poor choices or the fact that we are lacking funds. Until we know that he cant be blamed. There was still time to escape but the recruitment nailed the coffin lid shut! UTV

I never expected Brady to come in and perform miracles, as previous posts have stated, Vale’s fate was sealed by the Owners, Moore and a suicidal transfer window. However I did expect some improvement. While the majority of supporters would agree, players are putting a shift in which actually makes results even more disappointing. If the players are giving their all and results still haven’t turned around, what does that say about the quality of the players? The forward line last night was nonexistent, the midfield never had control while the back line at times was in total disarray. We desperately need a first eleven and not just a squad where no one is any better than anyone else.

Huge job close season job to overhaul this bloated Vale squad into one that is leaner, fitter, hungrier, and fit for purpose to challenge the top of League 2. Perhaps 15 or more players need to go, including the January window stop gap signings, loanees, those out contract. and under achieving higher earners. Squad places should be found for young Shorrock, Richards, Walters, and perhaps Lomax, supported by Croasdale and Garrity’s proven and reliable experience. Without careful recruitment due diligence, Vale could land in another relegation battle. Seems unthinkable, but Carlisle United’s example and demise to the National League is a stark reality check.
