Respected journalist Pete O’Rourke says Mitch Clark is set to agree a loan move to League Two Fleetwood.
A reminder on our Port Vale rumours features. These stories have been reported elsewhere on the web and are not started by OVF nor necessarily believed by us. We have published themselves because we think they are of interest but readers should remember that the vast majority of rumours never come to fruition – so treat these claims with caution!

Clark is out of contract at the end of the season so if the move happens then it potentially ends the defender’s fourth spell at the club – with the other three all being loan moves. He would end his Vale stay with a total of 114 appearances and two goals.
What do you think? A good or bad move? Share your thoughts and post a comment.

A ll the best to you Mitch, you always gave your best I will be sorry to see you go, you read a game well.
I think he is one of better players… He’s quick to run down the wing and cross, which we really need. Also solid at the back..
For me its a bad move. I know some Vale supporters will agree with him leaving but you could rely on Mitch giving 100% every match.
Good luck Mitch…certainly a player who always gave 100%..hope he manages to get a few more years of regular football
One of our better players ……..not sure whats going on ,every time i get around to buying 4 season tickets ,i get put off with crazy decisions im based in Brighton so im going to put it on a hold.
Crazy decision, alls I can imagine is Vale are cutting the wage bill ready for league two. Brady will be stuck with 5or6 wingbacks as it is with longer contracts than Clark, so he was the easiest to move on. If the club wasn’t run like North Korea we might find out one day.
