Goddam awful performance. I must need my head examining for suggesting we would win tonight. I have a question for Mr Brady…if Ben waine was the only player who tried against Stockport why was he benched tonight? cos that was the kind of his predecessor would do. Only Kyle John and George Hall would have been 6 out of 10. The rest knowwhere good enough. As for the midfield of Archer a winger, Humphries a centre back and leaving the worst till last Shitley no wonder we were overrun in the centre. The fans deserve better than this. What a waste of money. I will follow vale all over the country but tonight was the final straw. The hierarchy have a lot to answer to, but are knowwhere to be seen. I’m starting to think like another contributors on this site maybe it’s time for change #Hancock out #Carol out who would have thought that at the start of the season

As i said before…manager talks a good game ..what fans want to hear ..but doesn’t back it up with a rousing display . To much tinkering again no settled line up .no bottle ..no pride ..at this rate we won’t do much better in league 2….oh and players who left or moved out on loan ..seem to be scoring adding assists like star players ..why couldn’t they do it at the vale ?????..there’s got to be a good reason .

Well with £14m owed to the family and millions lost each and every year you need to be billionaires to run clubs these days and not simply people with a few million to loan out. Assume people have a sensible solution of someone who can afford to throw away millions every year. If not we are stuck with who we have.

Agree with Steven, just to add the club has been in disarray since the David Flitcroft debacle, this is just the deluge remaining from a self appointed delusional buffoon. Need to bed in all of the youngsters for league 2 (Lets face reality we are down). Get rid of all overpaid deadwood players, reduce the wage bill and have a full strategical reset in league 2, build a team around youthfulness and experience, I notice not many youth/academy players get a chance any more? WHY? THIS TIME do not try to buy your way back into league 1 all but a few of this set of players don’t show as if they care. Please don’t keep making the same inherent mistakes, the club is at an all time low at present, just listen to the fans. New players will not want to come here and represent Vale and I am sure will go else where rather than run out onto a mud bath for a season or two. I can only see free fall into the National League, sorry a disgruntled fan. Happy 150th anniversary.

As a Stevenage supporter I thought vale were excellent in the first half, quicker than us and first to the ball and winning most aerial balls. Unlucky to find themselves 2 1 down. If they could of maintained that in the second half I think they might have got something from the game but they dropped far to deep and allowed us to dominate the pitch.

We have brought in a manager who is worse than the former one Moore, there a reason he has been out of work for 12 months. Absolutely garbage the club is rotten from top to bottom , will take something special to get me there again this season, enough is enough, Carol and Co on radio silence after another great managerial appointment.

Predictable defeat on the way to what now seems inevitable relegation. That there’s still 17 games left shows how far the club and supporter morale have sunk. Humphreys shoe horned into a midfield role ? Surely he’s better suited to central defence.

Agree with Spider on youth. But what a bl**dy mess we are in. I think the solution is consolidation in league two for 2 or 3 seasons, built a youth team full of energy, pride and teamwork. That would build confidence, togetherness within the team and fans and would bring real passion. Instead, we tend to go for short term fixes that do not maintain any loyalty, which just stinks of short term thinking. I’m convinced most fans would be content with a mix of experience (Garrity, hall, Humphrey’s) then good experienced young lads like John, Hall, Walters, Shorrock, mixed in with more youth talent. Then we build momentum at a sensible wage structure. Sell 1 asset a year and keep building and building

Sorry if this upsets supporters but John gave the ball away to many times Archer turned his back on one of there players who then scored, I don’t think any of the Vale players have got a football brain between them, if the ball comes to them in the air just head it, if it comes along the ground just kick it,none of them stop the ball then play to one of there own players. When we were at school we called it kick and run,yep that sums up the pattern of the Vale players.I also thought our goalkeeper was going to have an Amos on him,

The bizarre team selection gave you little hope before we even kicked off. To play just one actual midfielder was ridiculous, and to play Stockley and Gray up front meant we had no pace or legs in the frontline. Brady has been given an almost impossible job in trying to keep the Vale up, but I am baffled by his team selections. Surely from day one he should have concentrated on making us difficult to beat, then build from there. 4-4-2 with 4 midfielders who will keep it tight. I do understand he’s being forced to try and win games to make up the gap, but leaving us wide open isn’t achieving that. To go down with a squad of players the manager doesn’t want fills you with fear for next season, and the bucket stops with the owners and Hancock no one else. We are loosing money hand over fist, the pitch is a disgrace and the team awful. Yet we’ve had our best home gates for 20 years, sacrificed kickoff times for a huge TV deal, record shirt sales and facilities in the main stand bringing money in most days of the week. This season was there to consolidate and build, WHAT A COCKUP !!
