A collective of South West based Port Vale supporters – known as South West Valiants – will be the match ball sponsors for the Port Vale home game against Exeter City on the 24th January 2026.
The group are based in the West county and are all participants on onevalefan forum. Several have already met up at the summer friendly game against Bath City and the previous away fixture at Exeter.
The group felt sponsoring a game against a West Country side was appropriate given the fans’ location. Circumstances now mean the game will include the club’s official 150th anniversary celebrations. A number of former players will be in attendance, there will be a special 68-page programme on sale, and a free commemorative decorative scarf for all home supporters.
It is the second club sponsorship of the season by onevalefan following this website sponsoring the home and away kit of summer signing Jordan Gabriel.
OVF has been a regular Port Vale FC sponsor – we are into our fourth consecutive season of player sponsorship, we regularly sponsor matches and competitions over our 30 year history have brought in revenue of around £35,000 for the club shop in competition prizes.
We’ve also raised money for our chosen charity, The Dougie Mac, through a range of online activities and fundraisers.

I had hospitality booked in the legends lounge for the 150 celebrations and foolishly believed that it would carry over to when the new celebration game was announced
I got a message via the app to say it was the Exeter
Game and presumed that all would be well!!!
I’m now informed that its not as they are treating my tickets:hospitality as the Barnsley game not the celebration game
I’ve tried to contact anyone senior at vale for an answer and have to say it would be easier to contact Putin as the senior management put so many hurdles for you to jump through and simply refuse to speak
I’m 75 and supported Vale since I was 7 but now live 80 miles away and if this is how we treat lifelong fans it’s little wonder our attendances are poor!!
We profess to be a Community Club so drop the barriers and speak to the people that matter
All good now nobody from the Politbureau called me back but Sue from hospitality finally sorted after several days … thanks Sue
Poor show Vale !!!
