Striker Ruari Paton has been awarded three star man awards for the games against Leeds U21, Leyton Orient and Exeter City.

The results take Paton to join-top of our leaderboard alongside Funso Ojo. There is also a first award for Devante Cole who shares the Leyton Orient star man award.

About these awards

After every first-team game, there will be an opportunity to rate every Vale player out of ten. We check the results after three days and the player (or players) with the highest rating is named our star man. In addition, we will produce the average marks for every player at the end of the season.
