Port Vale manager Darren Moore has issued an injury update and confirmed that striker Jayden Stockley missed out on the Stevenage game through injury.
Moore confirmed that Rhys Walters and Rico Richards were fit but not selected in the squad commenting: “Rhys and Rico were not involved in the squad tonight.”
However, Stockley’s absence was enforced with Moore adding: “Jayden Stockley just pulled up in training the other day. Maybe a little bit of a calf issue. We’re just waiting to hear what the outcome of that one is.”
Vale also lost the services of Jordan Shipley and Funso Ojo during the game with the manager saying: “Both (were) enforced (withdrawals). I am hoping it’s both of them cramping up and I just hope it’s not anything muscular. Both of them had done really well. ”
Moore also confirmed that injured striker Ruari Paton is now back in training.
