The Football League World website says Port Vale are one of three clubs chasing an out of contract former Wycombe Wanderers forward.
Brandon Hanlan has been released by Wycombe Wanderers and the Football League World website says Northampton Town, Port Vale and Doncaster Rovers have all made offers for the 28 year-old.
The Valiants would certainly seem to be in the market for another forward. Just Jayden Stockley, Lorent Tolaj and Ruari Paton are under contract at this time. Six footer Hanlan would add an experienced League One performer to the squad.
Hanlan signed with Wycombe back in the summer of 2021 after a spells with Charlton, Gillingham and Bristol Rovers. He has scored sixteen times for Wanderers in 111 appearances during a four year stint in Buckinghamshire. The 28-year-old is set to become a free agent at the end of June.
So far, the Valiants have added Jordan Gabriel and former loanee Rico Richards to their squad for the forthcoming League One season.
