Reports in the local media claim that Cheltenham Town midfielder Tom Pett is set to join Oldham Athletic on loan. Should he do so, Pett will be the fourth former Valiant at the National League club.
Pett had a good stay in the Potteries after being signed by Darrell Clarke. He made 83 appearances and was handed the armband for Vale’s play-off final win over Mansfield Town at Wembley.
The 33 year-old has made 56 appearances for Cheltenham after being signed by Clarke for a second time but according to reports is now due to leave on loan.
Should he do so he will join former Valiants Charlie Raglan, Harry Charsley and Oldham club captain Tom Conlon at Boundary Park.

Good luck to him. Proper player that never let us down.Don’t think he was treated well by the club at the end.
