Following their impressive performances against Newport County, Vale forwards Jayden Stockley and Lorent Tolaj have been named in the Whoscored.com team of the week for League Two.
Stockley scored twice in the game while Tolaj also got off the mark as the Valiants secured an impressive 4-1 away win at Rodney Parade.

Port Vale claimed a huge 4-1 win at Newport on Saturday, with Jayden Stockley landing a WhoScored.com rating of 9.22 on his first league start of the season. Stockley netted with two of five shots and won a whopping 12 aerial duels in a standout showing.
With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.66, Lorent Tolaj is the League Two Player of the Week. The 22-year-old was directly involved in three of Port Vale’s four goals in their 4-1 win at Newport, getting the better of Nick Townsend with one of five shots, and providing a brace of assists from three key passes. An additional four tackles capped a fine showing from Tolaj.
Striker Tolaj was also named as the OVF top performer by viewers of this website.
