Port Vale 2-2 Rushall Athletic – Tolaj scores again as Vale draw behind closed doors friendly

Lorent Tolaj scored his second goal in a Port Vale shirt as the Valiants drew their latest friendly game.

Played behind closed doors, Vale went into the break a goal down despite chances for Stockley and Garrity.

Vale swopped their starting eleven at the break and although Mitch Clark had to be replaced eleven minutes in, mounted a comeback.

It was Tolaj who drew Vale level four minutes into the second period as he cut in to score. Vale then took the lead on 65 minutes when Dipepa found a trialist who scored from close range.

Rushall hit the post before securing a late equaliser to make it all-square.
