Port Vale’s top scorer is ruled out for “several weeks”
Port Vale manager Andy Crosby has confirmed that the injury to midfielder Ben Garrity is worst than feared.
Garrity was substituted during the second-half of Vale’s 2-1 defeat at Carlisle United after opening the scoring.
Manager Andy Crosby confirmed that Garrity had been carrying an injury but informed the media before Vale’s game with Charlton Athletic at Vale Park that Garrity will be missing for “several weeks.”
In Garrity’s absence, Tom Sang was drafted into the Vale midfield.
Garrity has been a resounding success since joining the Valiants from Blackpool and has already netted eleven times this season.

What are the guys in the backroom doing to prevent injury to key players “lasting several weeks”
They cannot be held responsible for the injury ,but the quick recovery is essential and is their responsibility
We need a better response and this must be of prime importance to the DoF…action please !!
