Port Vale call off game due to International call-ups
Port Vale have announced that their home game against Fleetwood Town, set to take place on Saturday 14th October, has been called off due to International call-ups.
Port Vale loanees Josh Thomas, Ollie Arblaster and Alfie Devine have all been called up for International duty.
A club statement said:
Our Sky Bet League One home match against Fleetwood Town, which was due to take place on Saturday 14th October, has been postponed due to international call-ups.
EFL Rules state that clubs with three or more call-ups are permitted to reschedule league matches.
Ollie Arblaster (England), Alfie Devine (England) and Josh Thomas (Wales) have all been called up by their respective countries.
Information regarding the rescheduled fixture, including the new date and kick-off time will be announced once we have confirmation.
All tickets that have been purchased for the original date will remain valid for the new fixture.

This doesn’t make sense to me. It means we move the fixture so having to play 3 games in 8 days. Crosby will then rest certain players (probably these 3 ) !
