Port Vale have announced the signing of striker Ryan Loft for an undisclosed fee from Bristol Rovers.
The news comes on the same day that the Valiants announced the departure of Ellis Harrison to MK Dons.
Loft will now compete with James Wilson and Josh Thomas for a place upfront in the Vale starting eleven.
Manager Andy Crosby said: “I am excited to welcome Ryan into our group. He adds a different profile to the strikers we have currently in our squad.”
