Influential goalkeeper wins player of the season (so far) poll
Giant Port Vale keeper Connor Ripley has been voted Port Vale’s best performer after the first six League games of the season.
This website ran a poll asking users to vote for the club’s best player so far.
Ripley, who has impressed with his presence as well as key contributions in the League such as a penalty save against Andy Carroll and crucial saves (such as his last-gasp saves during the win over Oxford). Ripley also managed to not concede a single goal during a League Cup penalty shoot-off against Crewe.
Fans were also impressed with summer additions Oliver Arblaster and Ethan Chislett who also did well in the poll.
