Former Valiants: Oyeleke, Turner and Angus find new clubs
Former Port Vale players Manny Oyeleke, Dan Turner and Dior Angus have secured moves to new clubs this summer.
Oyeleke moves to Woking
Woking have signed midfielder Emmanuel Oyeleke following his departure from Chesterfield. The 30-year-old former Port Vale man scored two goals in 36 National League outings for the Spireites but missed all of last season because of injury.
He had a brief loan spell with Woking in 2014-15 and featured five times in the league.
Altrincham net Angus
Phil Parkinson has boosted Altrincham’s firepower by snapping up former Port Vale forward Dior Angus from League Two Harrogate Town. The 29-year old has a proven record as a non-league striker with an eye for goal at Alty’s level and above and according to the official statemnet “will give the Robins extra attacking options next season.”
Turner moves on to Brackley
After ending last season with relegated Leamington, former Port Vale striker Dan Turner has returned to National League North after moving to Brackley Town. He has signed for an undisclosed fee.
