FA Cup first round draw – Port Vale get home draw against Exeter

Port Vale have been drawn at home against fellow League One side Exeter City in the first round of the FA Cup.

The two sides met in the first game of the season where Vale were humbled 4-0. Darrell Clarke’s side will no doubt be looking for revenge in the cup tie.

The two teams last met in the cup in 2015 when Vale suffered a 2-0 loss. The two sides also played in the FA Cup in 1952 when it finished in a 2-1 win to the Valiants.

The ties will take place between November 4th and 7th.
