Port Vale defender leaves on loan
Port Vale FC have announced that summer signing Derek Agyakwa has moved on loan to Chorley.
Agyakwa has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.
A statement from the club said:
Defender Derek Agyakwa has joined Vanarama National League North side Chorley on a one-month loan.
Agyakwa, 20, joined the Vale in the summer after leaving Championship side Watford and featured in pre-season for Darrell Clarke’s side in pre-season.
He is yet to make his competitive debut for the Vale and this short-term deal will further the defender’s senior football experience, having previously featured in two Carabao Cup fixtures for the Hornets and briefly in a loan spell at Serie C side Como in the 2020/21 campaign.
